If your narrative or financials are not ready, contact NDTA first. NDTA can help you assess your readiness and identify what still needs work. For official portal questions, agency deadlines, or direct program clarification, contact the GDOT DBE Help Desk at (404) 631-1273.
After You Submit: Annual Responsibilities
Getting recertified does not end your obligations. Once you are back in the program, these apply every year:
- • File a Declaration of Eligibility annually.
- • Notify your certifying agency within 30 days of any material change: ownership, significant revenue change, change in management control, or change in personal net worth.
- • Keep your records organized year-round. Annual renewal is much easier when your documents are already in order.
- • False statements or omissions can result in decertification and legal consequences.
